Faith diminishing in the world

Scriptural Perspectives Part 1
Faith. At the core of all the dynamic teachings, grand multi-translated prose, establishments of principles and laws, and prophecies fulfilled and unfulfilled that is provided by Scripture, there is but a single essential idea which thereby its acceptance or rejection separates the mere reader and the believer. Shall we, by all of our understanding and despite all of which we cannot understand, have faith? Certainly ritual is in vain and religion a miseducation in action where these tools are not driven by an immovable belief that we are of our Creator, that He is good and that by accepting our natural union with Him we inherently share in one love and achieve paradise for our world family.
The human condition is such that the most empowering act that we can perform can take all of our power to accomplish. Moreover, from an observance of Humankind’s history as reflected by Scripture and history books, our ancestors lived in a more receptive world, where spirituality is concerned. Not only were there more clearly evident miraculous wonders to behold in ancient times, but civilization had not yet, depending upon perspective, evolved or degenerated to the point where people find it even easier to be faithless. Also, our progress in sciences help us believe that we can rationalize and defend faithlessness. Darwin’s Theory and other scientific principles can arguably be said to contradict the existence of a world created by a divine being. Furthermore, we have created other things which are putatively used to a great benefit for our lives which do not require the rigor that faith does for some.
Where one has not developed a predisposition to faithlessness simply because of the changing ways of the world or because of intellectual inclinations which suppose that faith is ultimately futile, a perception of the world as forsaken by any feasible higher power is another significant invitation to abandon faith. With so many catastrophic “natural” disasters such as tsunamis, earthquakes, and hurricanes, and other tragedies that Humankind ordinarily experience, to this class of nonbelievers there can either be no Creator or not a very kind one that He would cause or allow such suffering. However they come to it, the trend of faithless can be seen to be increasing and although we can easily determine many of the causants, not many clear or effective means to turn the tide for faith are arising as effortlessly. Faith.

Hi Lady Guinevere ~ I agree that faith springs from a fountain within us, and of course this is what the Messiah has told us indeed saying Have faith in Yahuweh. For verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall no doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith, Mark 12:22-23.Effective means to turn the tide for faith does not direct the invocation that our own spirit must ultimately muster to increase faith, and it certainly does not suggest that religion resolves. This first hub will propel a series of Scriptural Perspectives in the future which opens forum for readers (and we hubbers, alike) to consider how some may be receptive to a seed for faith; whether that brings forth fruit is entirely up to the individual, as you say. At last I would rely again that Yashua spoke Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Yahuweh: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of Yahuweh. Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. Luke 8:10-12. Thank you for your comment and I will read your hub that you suggest.

Jesus tells us where FAITH is and it isn't in a religion. The FAITH that he talks about is within ourselves. He says the we can move mountains with that faith if we believe in ourselves. He never mentions in any of his parables on FAITH that is in a outside source. I wrote a hub on this if you care to read it. It's "Faith and the Ant and The Rubber Tree".
